生成式人工智能(GenAI)的应用正在重塑程序员的编程方式和工作内容,但其影响程序员工作重塑行为的关键因素及其作用机制仍有待探究。基于扎根理论范式,研究选取24名具有GenAI编程工具使用经验的程序员进行半结构化访谈,采用文本编码分析构建影响模型。研究揭示了GenAI编程工具技术特征对程序员感知效益和风险具有直接影响,进而对程序员工作重塑行为产生影响。本研究从技术特征视角出发,系统揭示了GenAI对程序员工作重塑的作用机制,拓展了人工智能情境下员工行为研究,并为GenAI编程工具的技术开发与利用提供可操作性指导。
Abstract:The application of GenAI is reshaping programmers’ work content and their programming practices; however, the key factors influencing the transformation of programmers’ work practices and their underlying mechanisms remain to be explored. Based on the grounded theory paradigm, this study conducted semi-structured interviews with 24 programmers who had experience using GenAI-based programming tools and employed text coding analysis to construct an influence model. The study revealed that the technical characteristics of GenAI programming tools directly influence programmers’ perceptions of benefits and risks, which in turn affect their job crafting behaviors. From the perspective of technology characteristics, this study systematically elucidates the mechanisms through which GenAI influences programmers’ job crafting, expands research on employee behavior in the context of artificial intelligence, and provides actionable guidance for the technical development and utilization of GenAI programming tools.
